Tall Wall - Mounted Design House Stockholm Lasso - Style Mirror
Axel asks, 'What more do you need to hang a mirror on the wall than a rope, a knob, and a reflective surface?' Just wrap the rope around the middle of the glass, thread it through the inserts on the metal back - plate, and secure it to the wall with the oak knob. This creates a great contrast between the soft textile rope and the shiny metallic glass.
Axel points out that mirrors are usually just hung with a wire attached to the back as an afterthought. But in this Lasso Mirror, the rope attachment is the key design. It looks like a lasso thrown around the glass, tightened, and leaving an impression on it. Three spacers keep the mirror flat against the wall, and a clever attachment ensures it stays firmly on the knob.
Axel says it's all about the materials - grained wood, soft textile, and hard glass. He aimed to bring these different elements into a simple, perfect, and organic relationship. The thick woven nylon rope can also hold notes, cards, or reminders. You can choose between spherical and rectangular mirrors, with solid oak knobs.

Using this mirror is easy. First, wrap the nylon rope around the middle of the glass mirror. Then, thread the rope through the two inserts on the iron back - plate. Next, use the oak knob to secure the mirror to the wall. The three spacers will keep the mirror flat against the wall. You can use the rope to hold notes, cards, or reminders. Remember, this is a special order item, so there are no cancellations or returns. But if it arrives damaged or has a defect, we'll send you a replacement. To maintain the mirror, just use a soft cloth to clean the glass. For the rope, you can gently dust it off. And avoid getting the oak knob wet for a long time to prevent damage.
