Original BTC, founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, started as an Oxford-based home lighting brand. It has since incorporated two other lighting brands: Davey Lighting, a heritage marine lighting maker, and Beadlight, an LED lighting producer. With a family background in retail, manufacturing, and design, Peter designs the products in collaboration with his son Charlie, who became the Director in 2012.
