Original BTC, founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, started as an Oxford - based home lighting brand. It has incorporated two other lighting brands: Davey Lighting, a heritage marine lighting manufacturer, and Beadlight, an LED lighting manufacturer. With a strong family background in retail, manufacturing, and design, Peter designs the company's products together with his son Charlie, who became the Director in 2012.
