Mater Ocean Bench

The Ocean Collection is a reinvented table-and-chair set, originally crafted in 1955, now made from ocean waste plastic. It brings together innovative ways to stop ocean pollution, in collaboration with the famous 20th - century designer, Nanna Ditzel. This series features a light structure with repeating slats and metal frames, built and tested for outdoor use. The Ocean Collection is designed for easy disassembly, allowing each part to be recycled in its pure form for new production cycles. This bench by Nanna Ditzel showcases sustainable and innovative thinking. It won the Wallpaper* Magazines Design award in early 2019. Designed by Jørgen & Nanna Ditzel, it comes in black or sand colors. Made from recycled fishing nets and recycled hard plastic, one bench saves 3.2 kg of plastic waste from the ocean. The steel frame has a gunmetal finish. Dimensions are 61.8” W x 22.8” D x 31.9” H with an armrest height of 26”. It's non - returnable due to its oversized nature, but we'll happily replace it if there are damages or defects.

Using your Mater Ocean Bench is simple. Just place it outdoors in your preferred spot, like a garden or patio. Since it's made for outdoor use, it can withstand different weather conditions. When it comes to maintenance, a simple wipe with a damp cloth can keep it clean. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the recycled plastic and steel frame.
