Taking inspiration from how pictures and paintings are framed, the Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen explored how to surround a mirror with a frame that enhances rather than detracts from the glass's beauty and reflection. The result is the Nimbus mirror. It's a delightfully simple piece crafted from bronzed or polished brass and light-reflecting glass. Its soothing and sophisticated round shape elegantly defines any space.

A mirror is not just a functional item; throughout history, it has reflected the style of different eras, from the ornate Baroque and Gothic designs to the simple lines of the Bauhaus movement. MENU's latest version brings the basics of a mirror into the modern age with a mythological touch. In Greek mythology, Nimbus was a radiant cloud or corona that often surrounded a deity on Earth. The design studio looked at picture framing to transform the mirror's overall look. This circular mirror is encased in a halo-like bronzed or polished brass ring, secured by decorative screws, adding a sense of light and space to any room.

Using your Audo Nimbus mirror is super easy. Just find a nice spot on your wall in your home, hotel, or office where you want to add a touch of style and light. Hang it up securely using the appropriate hardware for the wall type. As for care, keep it clean by gently wiping the mirror surface with a soft, dry cloth. For the brass frame, you can use a mild brass cleaner to maintain its shine, but make sure to follow the cleaner's instructions. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals on either the mirror or the frame as they could damage the finish.
