4-Piece Set of Alluring Siren Song Dakota Dinner Plates
The Siren Song collection is designed to captivate you. Each piece in this collection is one-of-a-kind and fascinating, be it a horn jewelry piece or a hand-carved tray. The inspiration for this collection comes from 16th and 17th-century Dutch still life paintings, also known as “Vanitas”. These paintings featured symbolic items like skulls, fruits, butterflies, flowers, and musical instruments, which referenced death or different aspects of life. Another source of inspiration is the “Cabinets of Curiosities” phenomenon that emerged in the 16th century. Collectors stored their most precious items, such as rare shells, ivories, rock crystal objects, and fine portrait miniatures, in specially designed rooms and cabinets for optimal display. Our Prairie collection takes inspiration from the vast open plains of the American mid - west, with designs inspired by vintage quilting squares. It combines our love for vintage textiles and tableware!
